Departing from Gouvia Marina, we cross the crystal waters off Corfu’s eastern coast, heading northwest between the Albanian coastline and the village of Kassiopi. Our first destination is the untouched island of Erikousa, surrounded by clear blue waters and impressive golden beaches framed by steep cliffs.
Erikousa features two main beaches—Porto, the island’s port and main settlement, and Bragini, a peaceful sandy beach perfect for a morning swim. Our voyage continues to Othonoi, the largest of the Diapontia Islands and the westernmost point of Greece, situated just 40 nautical miles from Italy.
Othonoi has two main settlements, including Ammos, its coastal port village. The beach of Aspri Ammos on the island’s southwest side is considered the most beautiful and exotic of all. Before beginning our return journey, we make a final stop to explore the hidden Cave of Calypso—a true natural treasure.
